Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Freelance Finance account and all associated data directly from within the app. No need to contact support.

How to Delete Your Account

Open the Freelance Finance app on your device

Tap the Settings icon at the top right corner of the screen

Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

Confirm by tapping Delete Account in the confirmation dialog

Your account will be permanently deleted immediately.

Warning: This action is permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. There is no grace period or way to reverse this action once confirmed.

What Gets Deleted

Account & credentials
Invoices & client data
Expenses & receipts
Tax settings & data
All personal settings & preferences

Data Retention

Upon account deletion, your personal data and financial records are permanently deleted within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes. Data required to be retained by law may be kept for the legally mandated period.

Active Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it through your platform's settings before deleting your account to avoid further charges.

iOS (App Store)

Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Freelance Finance → Cancel

Android (Google Play)

Google Play → Subscriptions → Freelance Finance → Cancel
